Hayat Pharmacy and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend everyone ages 6 months and older receive an updated 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine to protect against COVID-19 this fall and winter, whether they have ever previously been vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine or not.
- Walk-in appointments for updated COVID-19 vaccines are available at all of our pharmacies for adults and children ages 3 years and older.
- COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 6 months through 2 years are offered with an appointment in advance and are administered at our 807 W. Layton Ave in Milwaukee.

Why should I get the updated COVID-19 vaccine?
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the 2024–2025 updated COVID-19 vaccines to protect against serious illness from COVID-19. The virus that causes COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, is always changing and protection from COVID-19 vaccines declines over time. Free updated COVID-19 vaccines are available to most adults living in the U.S. through their private health insurance, Medicare and Medicaid plans. You can contact your insurance provider to determine where you may obtain a COVID-19 vaccination at no cost to you.
Can I get my flu and COVID-19 vaccine at the same time?
Yes, it is safe to receive flu and COVID-19 vaccines at the same visit. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends maximizing your protection by simultaneously administering your flu shot with a COVID-19, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), shingles, or other vaccines at the same time. Ask your pharmacist which vaccines are right for you.

Walk-In Testing:
Testing without an appointment is offered daily. Simply choose your test at the pharmacy when you arrive. If you have symptoms or were exposed to someone with COVID-19, please wear a mask when visiting the pharmacy.

We offer a rapid PCR COVID-19 test for patients seeking the most reliable COVID testing. This includes those who are traveling and are in need of negative PCR COVID-19 test documentation required by an airline, cruise line, shuttle service, or international destination. If you’re traveling, please check with your transportation provider or destination for current requirements.
